Congratulations to our Fifth Grade Graduates! May they always remain close to God, and may they always recognize the many blessings He brings into their lives.
Thank you to their families, who chose to entrust Saint John School with their most precious treasures. It is an honor and blessing.
Each year the National Catholic Educational Association honors the achievements of Catholic elementary school graduates throughout the United States. The NCEA's Distinguished Graduate Award is given in recognition of an alumni member who continues to live out the values gained from their Catholic elementary school education.
We are pleased to announce that this year's recipient is Thomas Brezler.
Congratulations to our 2022 Knights of Columbus essay contest winners:
Luca T. (4th grade)
Ayla Z. (5th grade)!
Thank you the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus #1314 for again sponsoring this contest, and for their continual support and the many blessing they bring to our school.
Congratulations to Ezra, the 2023 Douglas J. Russell Memorial Scholarship recipient!
Douglas was a student of Saint John School and was diagnosed with myeloid leukemia in 1993. He loved school and was extremely fond of science, literature, and religion. He played soccer, was on the YMCA swim team, and was active in Cub Scout Pack 352 and Boy Scout Troop 52. Douglas died on October 25, 1995 while a sixth grade student at Saint John School.
Congratulations to Ayla on her top 5 finish in the Diocesan Spelling Bee! She was a great representative of Saint John School and we are proud of her!
