BRIDGE Educational Foundation
BRIDGE Educational Foundation has chosen St. John School to received $4,750 in scholarship awards for the 2018-19 school year through a generous donation from Waste Management and Braskem America. The application process includes a one-page form and the family's household 2017 Federal Income Tax Return-1040 form only. You may mail this application and tax information to the school office. The deadline is Wednesday, June 27, 2018. You may also contact Mrs. Pollick, firstname.lastname@example.org, for the same information or any questions. Please note that this scholarship does include a 40 hour community service requirement. Eligibility does not guarantee an award.
Earned Income Tax Credits
Pennsylvania Commonwealth law permits C-Corporations, Subchapter S-Corporations, Partnerships and other pass-through entities to earn state tax credits when providing scholarships for financially-eligible students at minimal or no cost, depending on your tax liability. [EX: A $500 EITC scholarship can be made for as little as $50 out-of-pocket.]

The non-profit Second Century Scholarship Fund awards aid to students attending Catholic schools in the Diocese of Altoona-Johnstown. While dozens of businesses have earned substantial tax credits by contributing more than $4 million to us since 2001, the need for your support remains. Our goal is to award all program-eligible students with tuition assistance scholarships.
